Some are conducted on a solo basis while others involve group or family therapy sessions. In some cases medication such as antidepressants or mood stabilisers may be necessary if one has a disorder like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder.

Additionally self help strategies and support play roles in managing health conditions effectively. For example, maintaining a healthy diet and engaging in exercise can help alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression. Building relationships with others is also beneficial during times of stress. Lastly, finding a balance between work and family life is important for well being.
